We get the park back!

St James Park has been largely closed off for the summer as part of an Olympic venue. Most of the park reopened a few days ago so I went to have a look at lunchtime today (making the most of the sun too!). I was glad to see that although large previously grassy areas are now dust, they are clearly starting renovation work, so hopefully it won't take too long before the park is back to normal. It was lovely to be able to stretch my legs and watch the ducks - I've missed having somewhere to escape to from my desk.
