Can you hear the drums Fernando?

No of course he can't hear the bloody drums he's thrashing the living daylights out of his Formula 1 car as he heads flat out towards one of the greatest corners ever.. Eau Rouge.

I thought I should post at least one picture of a car and Fernando is probably the best driver out there at the moment (awaits a flurry of abuse).In 2008  Fernando gave Alfie a nice hat and wrote 'To Alfie, Happy Birthday' on it as he was so please that someone in England still liked him after all that McLaren stuff in 2007. So we like him.

A busy day at the circuit. I had my meeting whilst Free Practise 1 was running so Alf got to see behind the scenes in Race Control which is an incredible place to be.

We then had a wander around the circuit to watch some F2 qualifying before a garage tour with Geoff the operations manager at Renault Formula 1. It was excellent (although no cameras in the garage). He managed to explain all sorts of mind blowingly technical stuff in a pretty straightforward way. All this happened whilst we were standing next to the car that was being worked on. We saw how the pit stop systems worked and blimey those tyre warmers are hot! I always liked Renault ;)
