THE SCREAM OF THE GULL

In the morning Mischa came, we drank coffee, read her new column, and made the last alterations. Read it alout to Piet Hein and watched if he laughed, and yes he did.
In the afternoon Piet hein and I cycled to the sea. We parked our bikes at the Standjuttersmuseum, and walked along the beach.
There were such amazing numbers of gulls. Many on the stone piers, even more on the sand, sunbathing!
And on the sand there lay dead jellyfishes, big blue ones, so we did have a swim but were careful to avoid them.
Then we enjoyed sitting on the sand, looking at the sea, hearing the sea, and watched the people go by.
