Productive Day

Well it was highly productive until around 4pm when Carlos decided the Bank Holiday weekend should begin and invited me to High Road House. Yet another gloriously sunny day and we passed a very happy couple of hours watching the world go by. Well, once I had dumped all the work I had been doing today out of my head and on to the poor man trying to unwind. I'd better be careful or I may not be invited again.

In my defence it is a while since I have spent a day stretching the old grey matter and I may have been a little hyped. The prosecco and the sun soon sorted me out. As did the discovery of a delicious St German cocktail.

Both kids have worked incredibly diligently on massive room sort outs. And Albi has finally lost her rolling in lawd only knows what smell she has had since her holiday kennel trip after an epic trip to the groomers. Perfectly timed for visiting my folks tomorrow.

And now it is time for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which shockingly both our kids went to see at the cinema without us.
