Goodbye

A very emotional day as it is Eva's last day at Kara and Ants before starting big school. They have played a very big part in Eva's life as she has been going there for over half of it!

They have been amazing. I've never had to worry about her when she is there. They've helped her grow into the well rounded, clever, happy and confident little girl we all love who is now so so ready for school!

Kara have us a bag of gifts to take away. Her learning journey, a game, sweets and colouring things and a card with pictures and handprints from all her friends but the most lovely thing in the was a letter from Kara to Eva which read;

I can't believe that the time has come for you to leave us. Where has that time gone? You were just a tiny two year old when you first came to play, full of confidence and chatter (and that's never changed). You were always my go-to girl if I ever needed to encourage the other children to give a new activity a try or do something new for the first time because you always gave everything a go! Keep that quality Eva and you will shine at school and remember, as you often tell your friends "just give it a try, it doesn't matter if it goes wrong". That positive attitude of yours has always made me proud.

I will miss everything about you Eva and I can think of no one thing that I'll miss more, you have always been a ray of sunshine, my right hand girl and a super-duper helper whenever I've needed help to cuddle a baby, read a story or even organise the entire group to play a game- you were there to help.

Mostly though we will miss your wicked sense of humour (I've never in my life meet such a witty quick thinking 4 year old). You can always bring a smile to any of us.

Eva I know you will be amazing at school and will surely shine in anything you choose to do. Remember work hard and try your best, give everything a go and most importantly always be happy.

Miss you more than you'll know.
