Duck

Long lunch and a catch-up with a friend was followed by a late afternoon walk around Hogganfield Loch, a favourite haunt while we were children.

Intermittent rain showers made it somewhat less than pleasant, but it's been that way for much of this summer. This Tufted Duck.sat around long enough to be photographed, unlike the swans who spent most of the time with their necks and beaks in the water.
