Wool

In between events at the book and food festival, we visited the fabulous Uist Wool mill. The smell of the yarn and the bobbins took me right back to my childhood. I was certainly only in single digits when I played around the woollen mill where my grandparents lived, but the memories were surprisingly fresh. They do say that the sense of smell is a great stimulus to memory recall.
