Living on the fringes.....

A bit of rain during the night again and no drougth so no silage bales today.
An afternoon spent running junior in to town, then back home to start carting slurry down the road. It's a 40 minute round trip which means hauling up a very long steep hill which my tractor doesn't like much! By 8pm I had had enough for the day and was walking like John Wayne !
This is the last weekend of the Edinburgh Festival, and while I have managed to avoid it , it has crept dangerously close with a venue down in the village !
