Monument Valley

We started the day with another visit to Arches National park and even though one of the main areas we wanted to see was closed due to refurbishment of the road/carpark, we were still able to see the delicate span of Landscape arch and many other formations in the 'Devil's Garden' section.

Following that, we travelled to Monument Valley for a jeep tour of the structures. It is an another awesome place and the backdrop to many a film. Rather than the classic view from the visitor centre viewpoint, I've blipped one of my favourites from the tour. 

We got back to the visitor centre after sunset and arrived at our hotel very late indeed - but not before a final stop to photograph the Milky Way (see extra.)
