Not The African Queen

But it sounded like it.  I heard it before I saw it and knew something different was cruising up the estuary beside our usual kayaks and canoes.  These folks looked official to me.  Maybe they're checking water quality or fish populations.  They were friendly and waved as they putted by.  They didn't seem to have anyone on board who resembled Humphrey Bogart or Katharine Hepburn.  Darn.  That would have been fun.
