Wombat Tootsies!

Well what do you know.....CCN and I were sitting on the patio eating our lunch this afternoon when we spotted some paw prints on the bird bath deck.  On closer inspection we realised that the muddy paw prints were not from Blippy the wallaby but from a WOMBAT, that's right, a WOMBAT!
We think they may have been on the deck since the rain the night before.
I have added an extra of a super sized wombat footprint :-)   

We have seen Wombats at Wombat Hollow but I've never seen them drinking from the bird bowls.  I have to say it did put a big smile on our faces and that was a good thing.  We have both decided we're going to take it very easy over the next few days.  Understandably it's been a roller coaster of emotions over the past week and it does wear you out.
