New Boots

I have been having a problem with one of my heels after walking and a trip to the physio confirmed that I have something with an 'itis' on the end.  I had recently heard about a boot fitting company in Whalley where you can have personalised insoles made.  

I was really impressed with the service.  Several different measurements taken and then boots selected on that basis.  Then off to the techy chap to have the insoles made.  He said I have 'complex' feet which made Santana laugh.  Then back to the shop for a final fitting and good instructions about how to lace up (there are lots of different ways I realise) and look after them.

Great day followed by a late lunch at Benedicts.
