C, my schoolfriend, rang me today and asked "Did I tell you that I got QVC End of Life?"
I went blank for a moment, trying to work out what that was...a new line on the shopping channel?
"Do you mean NVQ?!"
"Oh yes, I keep calling it QVC by mistake!"

C had a total career change a few years ago, and became a carer in a hospice last year: she loves her work, and has a natural empathy with her clients and their families.
