The figs seem to be doing well this year - we have had some which have been very sweet and tasty.

We got a new (to us) car today, so a bit tense driving it for the first time - it's electric, so automatic, which is very easy.  My old car had an automatic handbrake, so the hardest part is remembering to put the brake off and on, after more than 6 years without having to think about it.
