Elvis came in here to record a song for his Mum and paid 2 dollars to do so.
The producer took his number as she thought he sounded 'different'.
Nearly a year later Elvis was asked to come in and record a few songs.
Within 18 months this poor kid who lived in what we would call 'council housing' became one of the most famous people on the planet.
This studio was also the place that discovered Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and Ike Turner
