Early Visit

Made an early morning visit to Salisbury market today — my first visit to the city since before Christmas.
Whenever I can I make a point of going early morning before traffic builds up on approach roads to the city.  True, there is an east-west bypass, but bang in the middle of it is the main north-south route, which means traffic has to filter through two roundabouts on this bypass resulting in traffic chaos and lengthy delays
So making the journey early morning pays off although many shops do not open till 9am, and when I was there this morning, the normally busy Saturday market was still setting up, although quite a few stalls were already doing  business, with early visitors like me.
I really only wanted to visit one shop today, but I always enjoy a mooch around the  central area, and particularly those streets close by the centuries old cathedral.

Remind me I must come back soon.
