Painted lady

 This was flitting about on the few flowers that are left, a pink gaillardia and in the extras, a scabious. The one in the extras shows the eye  spots on the underside of the hind wing. 
The second extra shows an obstacle to taking photographs. Cinnamon likes to wrap herself round your legs when you are walking and lie on your feet when you stop!
