on the trail

Renee and I biked ten kilometers of the Cowichan Valley Trail, the one maintained by the Cowichan Valley Regional District. The trail was the former E&N Railway travelling 26 km from Duncan to the town of Lake Cowichan. We biked to a large swamp. The ten km return ride was slightly downhill.
