Four-legged Forecasters

As I was going upstairs for my after-lunch nap, I glanced out the landing window and saw the neighbor's cattle were all lying down together. I'd heard this is an indication of imminent rain. It certainly was this time. Cynthia told me there'd been two rain storms while I was sleeping.

It's been very relaxing staying here, and our hosts have made us feel very welcomed. I'll be sorry to leave this beautiful old house tomorrow.
