Holiday take 2

Yay it's holiday time again albeit a bit more luxurious in a seaside apartment rather than a tent!

The drive to Hunstanton was straight forward without too much traffic. We couldn't get into the apartment till 3 so we stopped just 10 mins away at Norfolk Lavender. We had a delicious lunch and then headed into the gardens and animal park. The children loved the play park. Alexander spent most of the time on the peddle tractors. He was very good at steering them around the track. We completed the maze and the children got a badge each as a prize. We then went to see the animals. The children got hands on with some rabbits and guinea pigs. We also saw the barn owl flying demonstration. Phoebe was lucky enough to have a hold with the barn owl afterwards.

We didn't leave till 4:30 and made our way to our holiday home. The apartment is fantastic and has absolutely everything we need for a comfortable stay. We especially love the sea view from the bay window. After a quick tea of pizza and salad we went for a walk to the beach. We played in the arcade and Phoebe won a key ring. We then sat outside on the green and watched the sun set over the water. It was magical. A late night for the children was made even later by Alexander having a nose bleed. His pyjamas and pillow were covered but we soon got him cleaned up and he fell straight to sleep.
