Off to the Edinburgh Festival

This afternoon I drove to Edinburgh. The festival means that accommodation is very booked up so I went to the Festival camping site which is near the end of the airport runway. I pitched my tent and got the bus into the city.

It was grey and drizzly when I arrived so turning this shot mono seemed appropriate. I hoped to get in to the city in time to see a comedy show which started at 7.15pm and I just made it. But I was hungry and didn't have time to eat so I chose food over the show and decided to see the show tomorrow. I had dinner and wandered round the old city for a while before heading back to my tent and the sound of rain and planes taking off.
