The mountains return!

The pall of heavy smoke has split north and south of us. This EB is leaving the movie theater and seeing the first glimpse of the Bitterroots in a couple of weeks. The fires continue to grow, but a bit more slowly as the brave firefighters get containment lines built that can hold these monsters. So far 2 lads have been killed, 3 severely injured and only 2 homes lost. Fortunately, our Eddie seems to be safe, GR.

With fire in the west and Hurricane Harvey drowning Texas, everyone is humming James Taylor's "I've seen fire and I've seen rain..."
