Fly by wire
We don't tend to visit gardens but we made an exception for Trebah Gardens near Mawnam Smith. And they were very nice indeed. Lush and jungley rather than trimmed and formal. And with a lovely private beach. The beach was used as a launching point for D-Day and had a cafe in a beach hut built by former owner Donald Healey (as in Austin-Healey).
And we watched some rehearsals by a "vertical dance troupe". And by their fire-breathing, dancing dragon. The main journal - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2347876066586004219 - combined a couple of photos of the rehearsals. And, in this picture, you can just make out the man attached to the other end of the wire in charge of making this dancer fly.
We stayed 'til closing time, then called in at Swanpool for a hot chocolate on a stick.
