Bank Holiday Haven

I walked right around Crummock Water today. It was hard to believe that it was Saturday on an August Bank Holiday. Firstly, it wasn't raining and secondly, I only bumped into "crowds" (which is overstating it) when I walked into Buttermere village for an ice-cream. 

This part of the Lakes is a hidden gem, and long may that continue, here looking across the lake to a heather-clad Grasmoor.
