Pipped at the post......

......I was doing a bit of local history research this morning and found out (when I was looking for something completely different.....and which was absolutely nothing to do with rabbit fondling before you ask ;-)) that Cullercoats missed out on film celebrity in 'Whisky Galore', literally at the 11th hour, in 1948.....I'm surprisingly gutted (belatedly!), I LOVE that film.........
