Golden Postbox

This is a golden postbox in Macclesfield, to honour Sarah Storey the Paralympian cyclist who won 4 gold medals at this years 2012 Paralympics. This is one of four postboxes dotted around the north west in her honour.

Sarah began her career as a swimmer, winning two golds, three silvers and a bronze medal in Barcelona in 1992. She won more medals swimming in Atlanta, Sydney and Athens, before switching to cycling in 2005 and winning two golds in Beijing.
