Shopping on Sunday
In the last century shopping on Sunday was unknown. Once a Christmas, shops were open on Sundays.
We fought for a long time to be free from work on Saturday and Sunday, except for the shop staff who had free on Monday instead of Saturday.
It was a gained right that the last 20-30 years is becoming more and more common in order that the middle class can not get enough and because the working people have to leave late by working so that they do not have enough time to do their shopping during the week . And the supply of items is so huge over the 50s through the 80s that money needs to be spent.
And it's even more busy than in the week.
