to Ben Rinnes on  another sunny day. Definitely autumn, as all the Scotch Argus butterflies are looking shabby and weary, poor things. However, there has been another flush of Small Tortoiseshell and Red Admirals. All have their season. The Black Darters are very black now although they still have another month of possible emerging.
