Just had to be
The sun shone as I walked across London - many photos were taken
I normally work through my lunchtime but I was chatting to a colleague who also likes to take photos, so we agreed to go for a walk to Bunhill Fields cemetry
I've blipped there before and you have previously seen
Squirrel in the Snow
Hard Choice
Platanus
I keep monkey nuts at work for the squirrels, so they were put in the camera bag.
Getting to the cemetery was a problem as they were resurfacing the road between us and the cemetery, so we had to find somewhere where we could cross away from the wet tarmac and the road rolling machines.
I am delighted with the squirrel photos and they were to by my blip
But
While we sat in the pub opposite the cemetery, watching the workmen (large glass of white wine in hand) a man appeared with a spray can and we watched as he drew a bike on the newly resurfaced road.
And here you now see it. Please note that it is missing it's pedals. I'll go and check the status of it tomorrow.
Go large to see his spray can
The things that made me smile:
This blip and the squirrels and the sunshine - it did rain a bit too
Exercise: Walked across London and sang my heart out at choir
PS Milo seems better today
PPS My son started his job
PPPS Thank you for Welcome to the Barbican making it to the Spotlight and Lemmy has correctly noticed that my real name is Wenda - so the prize goes to the lady
