Surfing dog

Decided not to go to Cani sport this morning as I needed the rest. Turned out to be a good decision as it was only a walk. Headed over to Seacliff beach to meet up with SB, NB and CB with respective children. We hadn’t seen HB since he was born. Had a nice day on the beach and Kilda was mainly well behaved. Took the kayak out with Kilda in the front. There were some big waves to get through and I miss timed it resulting in Kilda flying out of the front, she must have been a meter in the air before she landed in the water. She did very well to swim back to shore even though she got swamped by a couple of waves on the way back. Didn’t put her off and she was out swimming again and in the kaya with me while J had a bit of a swim. Here she is at the beginning of the day having fun in the waves. Went back to the B’s new house for a look around and to have a late lunch.  Nice to catch up with everyone and hear the good news from CB. Stopped off at B&Q on the way back to get some grit, stones for the new path, stepping stones and drainage tube ready for tomorrow. Spent the night in watching the qualifying.
