A little piece of Halifax

Lovely to be back at the restored Piece Hall in Halifax.
There's still a way to go but once a few more units are let I can see this becoming a significant destination. Rightly.
We met Steph there and had a nice cuppa in the new Square Chapel arts centre next door after. I can see us finding reasons to be there in the coming months and years.
Steph came back to ours for tea. It included some very tasty home grown spuds and after some allotment pears with a nice bit of Camembert.
Ended the afternoon/evening in the garden - so lovely to have a proper taste of summer.
All this and we spoke to my brother Tom and have arranged dates for a visit to see him in France.
What a successful day.
