Agricultural Show

The Lochaber Agricultuaral Show was on today.

Despite the last few days being wet, today was pleasant, dry and warm. The field remained moist and churned up badly in places. I fear many cars would have only got out with some tractor assistance.

The folk who organise the event give up many hours (days) of their time to make it all happen. Mrs SJR entered her Empire Biscuits in that category and got a first for it. There is baking, gardening, arts and crafts sections as well as the traditional farming livestock categories. The animals are turned out immaculately. There was a ferret and raptor display and local produce tents.
