AugustPhotoChallenge2017 - Portrait

Some of you may know that I don't like taking portraits.  However friends had invited me to go to Hyde Hall where there was a craft & design fair this weekend.  This made the task easier!  I did ask this lovely lady (Arleen Wild) if I could take her photo.  She is a mixed media artist and her pictures were a mix of paint, material and stitching.  The second shot is of her demonstrating how she does it, the end results were fabulous.  The extra two were of a potter and a singer.
In the afternoon my cousin and his wife came over and I went with them to listen to him play in a group (sound-a-like Pink Floyd).  Great afternoon.
