The conversion of the former Tourist Information building above North Kessock, and beside the A9, had a recent problem. And it must have been almost finished. On the way to work, a week or two ago, there was a Fireman on the roof spraying water from a hose through the hole where the glass cupola used to be, and some fumes rising from within. Now the place is boarded up... but not the hole in the roof.
