Finally a swim

This is the view from the beach where on this very warm, calm day I finally managed a swim in the sea.  We then celebrated afterwards with coffee and cake or in my and our son's case an ice cream.

If you look closely you can just make out small heads above the pebble ridge which show just how steep it is to the sea.  You can also see some of the plant root fossils in the red cliffs behind.  The extra is a shot of the beach.

Sorry to be so behind in commenting but I imagine many in the UK are busy enjoying the weather this bank holiday.
