Fruitful

Fortified by the Benderloch duck eggs, today was a very fruitful day.  

The extras: The allotment yielded the inaugural tomato, though my 'farmer' in the Germany hat (the connection is a new one) was not over-keen to share.  It was delicious, though maybe a day underripe. 

After a trip to the airport, help from a friend to reach an important milestone in the garden.  It is worth saying that we had wine and chocolate  in what used to be the worst bit of all, and were out until 22.41.  I think this is the warmest evening all summer.
