Cheryl's Birthday

So warm today, like an Indian summer, albeit a month early. Headed out to the beach shops with Tess to get some more frames for the ever growing wall gallery and had a lovely sneaky breakfast together at The Pier. It took an age to get to the beach because of the Great Aberdeen Run road closures and some drivers were getting angry but standing on the beachfront without any cars during a lull in the runners was so peaceful, they should keep it car free, looked and felt ace.

Home to see if the teenage sleepover invasion were awake (they'd stayed up to watch that daft Las Vegas fight thing) but they were already up and out.

Teatime gathering at mum's for Cheryl's birthday, lovely food, amazing cake by Lucy and entertainment from Duffy and Maya, the faithful hounds of the Wright Family. It was pretty cool to have everyone in on one place, folks lives are so busy.
