How Lucky Are We?

A chilly 6.00 am start to take the Dawn Platypus Tour. We were the only two people on the tour, so lucky!! After a walk through the rainforest to Lake Elizabeth we settled in to the canoe, slowly navigating the lake to catch a glimpse of these beautiful mammals. Absolutely stunning scenery, the mist rising off the lake, an amazing experience! Platypi everywhere. You can see one of these little fellow directly below the duck in this photo. How lucky are we!
