Incoming!

The bumblebees were busy today , but not in the buddleia but in the roses. There were in and out of the flowers collecting pollen. Tonight a flock of 8 or so nighthawks went over- this is the first time I have seen more than 3 or 4 at a time ( and infrequently for that) in over 20 years. 
We had a beautiful sunny day today ,unlike poor Houston which is getting drenched . Our thought and prayers go out to them.
