Eyes Wide Open

My grandsquirrel is about five weeks old and her eyes have just opened. She's a fat lively little thing. Her dad has rigged up his X-Man beanie with a cord to use as a carrier around his neck; she rides securely in the hat, next to his chest. Pretty soon she'll be a little too adventurous (and too big) for such luxury, but for now it's a wonderful sight. There are a couple of extras, just because she's so goldarn cute.
