2017 Sunday -- Jade Estella

Jade is our great-granddaughter. She is here in southern California with her mommy, our granddaughter, Desiree. This evening we had the privilege of having dinner with Desiree, Tristan, and little Jade.

Unbeknownst to us, Desiree and Jade traveled here from Missouri on July 31st. We were on California's Central Coast at the time. Des is involved in a custody battle regarding Tristan. Several years ago she lost custody of Tristan, to his dad and the dad's girlfriend, Nichol.

Nichol has been a super good mom to Tristan and his little brother Jaxon, but their dad is no longer living with Nichol and the boys. So when Nichol recently filed for guardianship of Tristan, Desiree hired an attorney and surprised Nichol in court.

Custody has been granted to Desiree, but with the condition that she stay in Southern California till another court date in October.

Meanwhile, Desiree's husband, Justin, is in Missouri waiting for them. He is a U.S. Navy recruiter.
