Day 240/17.HMS Queen Elizabeth, Portsmouth Harbour

HMS Queen Elizabeth is the first of a new class of aircraft carriers that will be the biggest and most powerful warships ever constructed for the Royal Navy.
A view from the Portsmouth Harbour tour today, highly recommended.
Only one previous ship bore the name HMS Queen Elizabeth. She fought in the Dardanelles and supported the Galipoli campaign.
(Technically she is not HMS yet, as she is uncommissioned....)
