I have started a new job, as a volunteer, and it has taken up quite a bit of my time recently (along with the Elderly Relatives).
I shall say more about it as time goes on (if I continue).

We have had a proper 'Bank Holiday' rest day today. Found a new and delightful café not far from home, and sampled 'apple, maple and olive oil cake'... A moist and incredibly delicious treat (despite maybe the 'olive oil' bit not sounding too appetising!).
The owners are planning to provide artisan bread baking courses too...
I pottered around the shops and found some shoes I had been coveting at a ridiculously cheap price.
Bought a nice 80th birthday card for a relative...
..My cup runneth over.

My glass will probably run over too now that the sun is over the yard arm. (Weeell... It's a holiday isn't it?).
