Surprise View

Woke up, looked out the window, nothing but mist.
A few minutes later, clear blue sky and just a bit of mist lingering in the valley.
Took Mrs RT's Mum up to Watendlath (after we'd scraped the frost off the car).
Beautiful day, fantastic clear views and reflections (you can see another one here).
On the narrow road up to Watendlath you pass Ashness Bridge (very famous postcard view, didn't stop there), then Surprise View which was a surprise because I'm sure it wasn't there last time we went that way. This is it. Derwentwater and Skiddaw with Bassenthwaite Lake just visible in the background.
