Bárður Snæfellsás

We took our guest for a trip to Snæfellsnes and Borgarfjörður. This sculpture is quite new, from the eighties, but it symbolizes a figure from folk tales who was a giant and supposedly did a lot of weird things in this area. I was a bit irritated with the tourists sitting and eating their lunch on it. Taking a photo of their misdeed did not chase them away.
The weather was stunning, not a cloud in the sky.
