Marlow Common

Hot day, so waited until 5 pm and then headed out to Marlow Common for a walk in the woods with the sun streaming through the leaves.  Rather liked this lashed up swing.

All around though are banks and trenches as this is one of the best preserved sites of training trenches created in 1915 to train British Troops in trench warfare before they set off to France.

Now over a 100 years ago......... lest we forget.
