Scaligeri

Today we had a change and took ourselves off to Verona;  luckily a lot of places of interest are all within a short distance and so it makes it easier to see these things if that's what you want.  As a place, it's not a great favourite of Jack's but I like it as it's something of a change of pace to Sirmione.  Anyway, we had a look at all the touristy things that we were supposed to look at and then we had a nice lunch.  Afterwards when we arrived back in Sirmione I blipped the small fortress that dominates the entrance to the historic town centre, it's not what you'd describe as magical but it has it's own charm all the same.
