Spring fungus

I noticed this fungus yesterday, when it was all perfect and new looking. Today, it has gone all inky and I reckon that tomorrow it will be a pile of gloop. Not a long lasting mushroom then.

Another lovely Spring day, though a bit windy (good washing day...). I'm hoping that next week I might actually get some blips from somewhere other than my garden... my sister will be visiting from New Zealand, so a few day trips will be in order.
