Quinceañera

Turning 15 is a big deal in the Latino culture. It is marked by an official ceremony (la quinceañera), full of rituals, including this father-daughter dance after the young lady makes her grand entrance to the assembled guests.

It was a sweet event and I feel privileged to have been able to capture some highlights for a truly lovely family :)

Still have a few hundred pix to sift through on this event but happy I wrapped up yesterday's first event. Hope to be finished by tomorrow so that I can finally turn my attention to our upcoming trip! :)
