Jimmy, Finn, Yasmin and I

2 months today

Two months old and full of character. We love his smiles and can enjoy him now the colic and silent reflux is under control. He is such a cheeky chap.

Weeks 5 & 6
We notice he likes looking at the stripes in his pram and putting his hands up to his ears , nose and rest of face when touched. He likes his play mat and looks at black and white images. We actually have a little routine in weeks 4 to 6 of feed, sleep, play. But this doesn't last long! He begins smiling briefly for the first time properly in week 6. He loves his musical donkey toy and listening to sounds. He quietens when he hears familiar voices.

Weeks 7, 8 & 9
Into people in week 7. He just wants to chat all the time or play on his mat. He continues to be interested in Black and white images and will study the pages of his book carefully. At the end of week 7 he smiles at daddy for the first time and beams from ear to ear.
A 8-9 weeks he notices self in mirror and will start to copy arm movements. Falls asleep on people's shoulders and had his first immunisation. We also go backwards and forwards to the docs and hospital for various appointments. Hip referral, silent reflux, physio for me and various tests. Think we have had our fill for a while.
Two Months go in a blur.
